Really interesting! I'm showing my old age (yes, one's eyes do start to go at a certain time), but can you make the font a bit larger? It's sort of hard to read.
I agree with you about the font. I tried to make it larger when I uploaded the document. Because each of the three pages are .jpg files on the blog, they'll enlarge if you click on them :) (Zooming in on the pages won't do much good-- as you probably already found out.)
Without uploading the document as a .jpg file, I couldn't incorporate the pictures into the file by wrapping the text around the images.
The Conrad Bali is currently ranked #4 of the 21 hotels in the touristy Nusa Dua area (according to TripAdvisor).
After 293 reviews, Conrad Bali has an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 with 92% of the contributors recommending the property to others. Here's a sample of the recent best and worst reviews on TA within the past one year:
Best (5 out of 5): "Spectacular resort with superb staff" - http://tinyurl.com/y97psla "Paradise on Earth" - http://tinyurl.com/yav8kjc
Worst (1 out of 5): "Live mouse swimming in toilet" - http://tinyurl.com/ye3cbm6 "Noisy and lots of kids" - http://tinyurl.com/yatus8r
It seems like most people have had terrific experiences with this hotel, with high marks for the swimming pool. Those who were displeased complained most about the noise levels at the property as a result of poor sound insulation.
A live mouse??? Yikes! The GM is the former president of the Bali Hotel Association and I've heard just marvelous things about him from a variety of people.
I'm interning at a Hilton property now (and today is my final day). After speaking to many people here, I haven't found any that have yet traveled to the Conrad Bali. Looks like I'll have to send a full report of the place back to the good people here.
Is there any way to obtain a pricing guide for the spa? I think I might need a massage on Monday night =) .. I read about the local massages offered and most of them are around $3-10 on the beach and other tourist areas -- I'd just like to know what the differences are in price points ..
Jimmy, do you know when the Conrad introduced the Wellness Concierge? After our Spa class and our in-depth discussions on Wellness with Mary, I'm curious when Conrad joined the Wellness campaign. This is something we'll have to ask Michael when we meet him. Kudos to the hotel for providing a Wellness Concierge and providing services that cater to the guest's mind, body and spirit. We'll definitely need to do some service research....part of your Hilton report for sure!!

ReplyDeletePoor sound insulation? Sounds like a certain property in Baltimore that we studied in the fall.

Check the final page of the brochure for pricing.

Just think--we could have been in Orlando....... Only 5 more days!!!
ReplyDeleteJust to throw this out there -- I did the orlando master class and it was actually fun, BALI is obviously going to be incomparable to orlando!
ReplyDeleteJimmy, thanks for the links!
I heard that Orlando was a lot of fun with a lot of interesting speakers/topics. But somehow Bali sounds a bit more exotic????
ReplyDeleteBALI! BALI! BALI! BALI! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, we will stay here :P

ReplyDeleteThe hotel sounds really great. Can't believe we get to stay here for 2 nights. So excited.
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about this hotel's Spa.. Is this the property with the triangular chapel?
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to stay here as well! I wonder how much it generally costs to stay here...?
